Scoil Íde Naofa have just had a very successful Seachtain na Gaeilge 10th – 17th March. The children took part in many events dedicated to the promotion of the Irish language and culture throughout the school. It culminated in a Green Day where €300 was collected and will be donated to Straight Ahead. Straight Ahead is a voluntary charity which provides surgery, support and medical equipment for children with orthopaedic conditions such as scoliosis. Dr. Pat Kiely co-founded this charity and gives his time for free to perform life changing operations for children on urgent waiting lists.
